Philosopher negates philosopher, scientist negates scientist, intellectual negates intellectual, and so on. An exercise in futility if absolute and perfect knowledge is the aim. We all must decide using imperfect knowledge, which Christians believe is by design, allowing for faith, which our scriptures say is required to please God. If I may, I have a wonderfully smart dog, Rollie is his name. He sits, shakes, rolls over and stays all at my command. He learned all of these with ease. But twelve years into his life he cannot do the simplest algebra problem. For twelve years I have tried, 1 + x = 2, what is x? He still cannot solve it. Why is that do you think?
